Dear Mountain View Families,

As we close out another incredible school year, I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for trusting us each and every day with your greatest treasures, your children. It is a responsibility we never take lightly. Being part of your child’s journey this year has been a true honor, and we are so grateful for the partnership, support, encouragement, and love you have shown our campus community.

I also want to take a moment to recognize and thank you for all that you do as parents and caregivers. The countless early mornings, homework help, encouragement after hard days, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering your time, and unwavering support make an incredible difference in the lives of our students. Your dedication, patience, and love help shape not only successful learners, but kind and resilient young people. We truly could not do this work without you.

This year was filled with growth, celebration, challenges, laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories. Through it all, our Mountain Lion family continued to show what makes this community so special. Together, we celebrated successes, supported one another through difficult moments, and always kept students at the heart of every decision.

To our students, thank you for bringing joy, energy, curiosity, and determination to our halls every single day. We are so proud of all you have accomplished this year.

As summer begins, I hope your family finds time to rest, make memories, laugh often, and enjoy every moment together. Thank you again for allowing Mountain View Elementary to be part of your child’s story.

Ms.Atkisson would like to send out a huge shout out to her Kindergarten class of 2026.  She  was blessed to have every single one of them her final retirement year !!   Once a Mountain Lion, always a Mountain Lion!

Mrs West and Mrs Smith’s class competed in a rock, paper scissors tournament today. Mrs. Smith’s class were the champions. 🪨📝✂️

Mrs. Glenn and Acosta’s classes sold lemonade to other 4th grade classes to wrap up our financial literacy unit! 🍋

First grade had a blast turning the blacktop into a beach! We are soaking up all the sun and memories! ☀️

Our little learners are shining bright as they learn while having fun! 💛📚 From exciting activities to hands-on learning, today is filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of glowing moments! 🌟

Our Mountain Lions had a BLAST celebrating their hard work for the American Heart Association today! 🎉💙 Students who raised enough money earned the chance to silly string and slime some of our brave staff members… and let’s just say, they definitely understood the assignment! 😂💚

We are so proud of our students for helping raise money for such an important cause while making unforgettable memories along the way. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our school community! 🫶

From relay races to soaking wet fun, today was packed with memories our students will be talking about all summer long. Thank you to our amazing staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the day such a success. We love seeing our students having fun, building friendships, and making memories together!
