Friday Jan. 1st 2027 New Year's Day observance.

*Killeen ISD Meet the teacher night we will close at 4p, and the first day of school in August we will open at 9am, once KISD approves the 2026-2027 calendar we will out that date out. This is so Staff are able to take their children to school the 1st day of school
These are the Proposed holiday closing dates, which are subject to change with proper notice (at least 2 weeks). If a Holiday falls on Saturday we are closed the Friday before, if a Holiday falls on Sunday we are closed the Monday after. Again please be advised these are Subject to change with notice (at least 2 weeks).
It is Very important to let us know when we have a short week if your scholar will Not be present. If we don't have at least 6 kids in care during a holiday we reserve the right to Not open that day.
Please Always have backup care for closings.

We are still collecting real items for our learning stations, and your support makes a big difference! Below is a list of what we still need:

👉 We ask that you comment below what item(s) you will bring so we don’t end up with too many of the same thing. Please note that we need at least 2 of each item per station.

We are Hiring an Infant Teacher!!

✅ **Qualifications for Infant Teacher (Childcare Center)**

* **Minimum Education:**
High School Diploma or GED required
(Child Development Associate – CDA – preferred)

* **Experience:**
At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred (but not required)

* **Background Check:**
Must pass FBI fingerprinting and background check

* **Training & Certifications:**

* CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 3 days of hire)
* Completion of or willingness to complete the **24-hour Pre-Service Training**
* Annual professional development hours as required by state licensing

* **Skills & Qualities:**

* Loving, patient, and nurturing with a passion for infants
* Strong communication skills with parents and team members
* Knowledge of early childhood development
* Able to follow Texas minimum licensing standards and classroom schedules
* Comfortable with diapering, feeding, and engaging in floor play
* Must be dependable and on time
