Mrs. Bagwell and her students have recently been busy in the science lab! Check out some of their recent hands-on experiments!

Our Concurrent Biology students investigated how different amounts of substrate affect enzymes. They especially enjoyed watching the yeast foam in different colors as the enzymes reacted with hydrogen peroxide!

Other Biology students learned about gas exchange in plants during photosynthesis by making imprints of stomata. They also put their microscope skills to work by examining their samples up close.

Hands-on learning is a great way to bring science concepts to life, and these students are doing just that!

Whether it’s lending a pencil, a piece of paper, a Chromebook, or a charger, he’s always the first person to lend a hand. Coach Maag goes on to say that Draven is always polite and respectful and sets a great example of what it means to be a REBEL!

Joke of the Day - from Mrs. Bagwell:
Where do bad rainbows go? To prism, it's a light sentence.

Coach Perkins would like to give a shoutout to Miley Clay-Circle!
Coach tells us that Miley shows incredible heart and dedication to her volleyball team. Instead of wrapping up her day at the end of practice recently, she stayed after and put in extra work along with a teammate. She kept her energy high, matched her teammate's pace, and encouraged her every step of the way.
Coach Perkins is very proud to have Miley as a Senior Captain of the volleyball team. She truly embodies what it means to be a REBEL!
