🌳🍂 **Learning is in full bloom in 2nd grade!** 🍁🌲

Mrs. Hajovsky's students are exploring the life cycle of trees and learning the differences between **deciduous and evergreen trees!** 🌿 To bring their learning to life, they headed outdoors for a nature walk to discover these trees in their natural environment. Along the way, they even found acorns and seeds! 🌰🍃

There’s nothing like getting outside, exploring nature, and discovering the world around us! 💚

🐝🌼 Our Kinder Hornets are BUZZING with knowledge! 🌱💛💙
Kinder students are blooming with learning as our little Hornets explore the plant life cycle, discover what plants need to grow, learn about plant parts, and investigate the important job of pollination! 🌻🌿
They even read a story about Polly the Pollinator, a honeybee who helps flowers flourish! 🐝🌸
Learning is SWEET at HES!!

Mrs. Brashier's students are working at building CVC words and sound dictation by making alphabet stew (a vocab word)

Ms. Doskocil's PreK students are working hard this week! They are learning about community workers and have centers set up as construction workers, grocery store and chef! They are also working on writing without tracing, motor skills & letter recognition! It's fun to learn when play is involved!!

Mrs. Adam's first graders took their science learning outdoors to observe and assess the weather! 🌞🌿 By stepping outside, students became little scientists, using their senses to notice weather conditions and explore what was happening in the world around them. 🌡️🌤️
