Today, our SJE community paused and stood together in prayer and reverence as we remembered the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We also honored those whose lives were forever changed that day.
As we mark 25 years since 9/11, may we continue to pray for healing, unity, and peace in our hearts, our nation, and our world.
Together, we prayed with hope, using these powerful words from Hallow for Schools:
“Today, 25 years after the tragedy that changed the lives of so many, we remember that there is no Resurrection without the Cross.
God, grant us healing.
God, grant us understanding.
God, grant us perseverance.
God, grant us hope.
Jesus, we trust in You!”
