General Speedy Martin has a distinguished Air Force career as a Command Pilot with 4600 flying hours, mostly in the F4 and F15.
In 2015, our Association of Graduates selected Speedy as a Distinguished Graduate.
General Martin, among many other assignments, served as Commander of the Air Force Material Command and Commander of United States Air Forces Europe.
Like many of us, he has not been silent since his retirement, serving the Academy and other institutions, including the National Defense University. He was integral in developing the new USAFA Institute for Future Conflict.
