World Phenomenology Institute Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka founded the World Phenomenology Institute in 1976, and the Analecta Husserliana journal series in 1968.

The WPI is devoted to the continued development of phenomenological scientific philosophy.

Ratnakīrti was an eleventh-century Buddhist scholar at Vikramaśīla monastery and one of the final major figures in India’s Buddhist epistemological tradition. Ten of his philosophical works survive in Sanskrit, dealing with questions in metaphysics, epistemology, logic, including the momentariness of phenomenal experience, causation, awareness, and liberation.

On August 26, 2026, the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy published its first entry devoted to this thinker, written by Patrick McAllister. You can read the new entry here: https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/ratnakirti/

The publication is a significant addition to one of philosophy’s most important online reference works. It also shows how canons are continually revised through institutional infrastructures that organize knowledge and shape research.

This concern also informs GloPhi’s work on the "Hildesheim Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sources" (HePS), an open, multilingual, and polycentric knowledge infrastructure designed to connect philosophical sources across regions, languages, and traditions, which is currently in development.
