On behalf of Carey "Coach" Crumling and the entire Alumni Band committee, we'd like to invite you to join us in the stands at the SW Homecoming Football Game! If you haven't joined us before, we really hope you'll join us this year. We have LOTS of fun and we know the current Marching Mustangs really enjoy playing with us on that evening. Here are the details:
Sunday, September 13 and Sunday, September 27- 2:00PM-3:30PM:
In place of a formal rehearsal, we will be holding two "open house" opportunities for you to pick up music and practice individually or in small groups.. Coach Crumling will be in the high school band room on both days to work with musicians who would like some individualized practice.
Friday, October 9th: Homecoming Performance
Dress is black pants, light color top. Meet in the HS Band Room for warm up and rehearsal at 5:00 PM. New for this year: Alumni Color Guard will join the HS color guard on the field for the pre-game Homecoming Queen ceremony. Alumni Band will play with the Marching Mustangs for the ceremony as well.
If you need to borrow an instrument, please let Coach know by September 1st at the latest by emailing [email protected].
Additionally, if you would like to pick up music but are not able to make either of the two listed dates in September, please e-mail Coach to arrange to pick these up at another time. If you would like Coach to mail or email music to you, please email him your address.
