Dear friends of Math-O-Vision,

After a thorough analysis (of course!), we have determined that the Neukom Institute for Computational Science will no longer be able to support the Math-O-Vision competition. We are grateful to all of our movie makers, supporters and the judges in particular, for the time and energy you gave to this effort to promote math, critical thinking, innovation and creativity among high school students.

The Math-O-Vision team wanted to give a big thank you to all the movie makers, classrooms and outside judges that participated in this year's movie contest. We had a blast, and got some amazing entries this year! We're looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with in 2016. Congratulations again to our winners, and we will see you next year! In the meantime, stay tuned for fun math news, jokes and community.

"This movie hit a sweet spot with my middle school students. It was extremely relevant to my kids, and they appreciated the Divergent connections. Also, they were familiar with much of the math, especially the algebra and geometry parts. Only about 14 kids understand the SohCahToa reference, but that was more than I anticipated. Good video overall, and fun to watch."
