In honor of LGBTQIA+ History Month, we are writing a weekly newsletter to commemorate historical events within our community. With each letter we will also have a q***r spotlight, featuring historical figures, celebrating their lives. Read through, Hope you enjoy!

V-February is Dartmouth's yearly campaign to end gender-based violence and promote gender equity. Some great things we as a committee get to do is manage Voices, our yearly production of The Va**na Monologues, and Upstaging Stereotypes.

Today, June 12th, we remember the Pulse Orlando victims and their loved ones. The City of Orlando, in collaboration with Pulse, has declared today ORLANDO UNITED DAY- A Day of Love and Kindness.

Join us today as we remember their lives and recommit ourselves to creating a world with more love and more acceptance. There is no place for hate. There is no place for fear. Love will always prevail.

memorializes those killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. Together, we will remember all those lost and taken by anti-trans violence during 2016.
