On April 9, we welcomed over 780 students, adult learners, and career changers to Live! Hotel in Hanover, MD for Maryland’s largest one-day career exploration event.

A special thank you to Lincoln Tech, who brought their expertise to life with hands-on experiences and workshops in automotive technology, skilled trades, HVAC, and more. Their team inspired future professionals to explore high-demand, high-growth industries — many of which don’t require a four-year degree.

This year’s event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our outstanding industry partners, including Mazda, Republic Services, Marriott Hotels, and Local Union 486. Together, we’re building strong career pathways across transportation, healthcare, IT, hospitality, and skilled trades.

In 2024, CareerQuest attracted over 600 high school students from 25 different high schools.
✅ 30 Exhibitors included 15 employers, 6 private career schools, 4 community colleges, 2 unions with apprenticeship programs, 1 restaurant association, 2 state government agencies and 1 federal agency.
