HC Student Senate

HC Student Senate Student partners acts as the liaison between faculty, administration, Student Life staff, & Campus Security and the student body of Hanover College.

Student Senate, unlike any other organization on campus, has a great responsibility to listen, represent, and address the needs of its constituents while acting as the central liaison between the student body and Hanover's faculty, administration, and staff. With dedicated members representing all facets of our student culture, Senate "partners with faculty members, administrators, Student Life st

aff, and Campus Security staff to solve problems of student culture, to integrate academic and living environments, to create a student civil society, and to build a principle-based community" (as stated in the Academic Vision Plan). Through open lines of communication, a shared vision, and an action plan that seeks to build bridges within our college community, Student Senate will apply our school's Vision and Principles, and our goal is to fully represent students’ views and to make Hanover College a better place to learn and live. Student Senate is comprised of students who are committed to serving as student leaders, involved with collaborative top-level decision-making, and seeking positive change for our campus community.

Hello all! Thank you all for such a great school year thus far! I hope you all have enjoyed and benefited from the things Senate has been involved in this year. We just wanted to say thank you for all of your involvement and participation in Senate. You all are the reason why Senate exists and why Senate is great. So, thank you, again. Hello Everyone, I just wanted to update you all about the Swept Fund due time. Swept Funds are due tomorrow by 11:55pm, not 5pm as I originally stated in my last post. So, my mistake and I hope this extra time can alleviate some of your anxiety. Good luck!

Hello All! I hope you've all had a wonderful break! I just wanted to inform you all that all of your requests for financial transparency have been answered.
