Our amazing team in Haiti continue to connect with local organizations whose work aligns with the services and opportunities we provide to our youth, especially the girls in our programs.

Earlier this month, our GSP Coordinator Markencia represented Jou Nouvo at an event organized by the Haitian Adolescent Girls Network Haiti Adolescent Girls Network, focused on the health and dignity of adolescent girls and women during menstruation.

Thank you Markencia for representing Jou Nouvo and for connecting with the organization’s leaders to explore potential partnership opportunities.

Dr. Meance is a published author, journalist, and a licensed clinical psychologist in Haiti, New Jersey, and New York who specializes in culturally responsive mental health care. With decades of experience empowering individuals and communities, she brings a compassionate, strengths-based approach that will help our program participants build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and thrive despite life's challenges.
