We can’t support ideals that contradict God’s heart and call it love. But attacking people for their choices, especially when they don’t know God, isn’t any better. We seem to forget we’re supposed to be image bearers. God is love, and kindness is His character trait that brings people to repentance (Romans 2:4).

This summer, we had the joy of welcoming students from across the region who came together through they dynamic leadership program TLA - and wow, did they make an impact!
These teens showed up with kindness, energy and a genuine desire to serve. They helped our clients move into safter spaces, picked up furniture for future families in need, and took on the huge task of cleaning and organizing our warehouse so we can serve even more people with dignity and care.
They were community minded. fun, full of life and they reminded us of what leadership really looks like - showing up, serving others and doing it with heart.

We are deeply grateful for every student, leader and volunteer who gave their time and strength this summer. Your service matters, and so do you. ♥

Your Heavenly Father formed you in your mother’s womb as a unique expression of Himself and destined you for divine purpose. He knit you together, carefully shaping your substance with everything you would need to fulfill your singular calling. Then He wrote His perfect plan for you—His uniquely original, wonderful work—in a sacred book. God has declared His word for your life, and He asks you to trust His promise, “… I am watching over my word to perform it” (Jeremiah 1:12).

Life and blessing flow through God alone, beloved. When we reject Him, we also deny the life He longs to give us.

How often we are tempted to think that the role of boldly speaking Truth is reserved for pastors and evangelists. God’s Word to us indicates otherwise. We have all that we need to proclaim His Word because the Word lives within us. And as we call upon Him to fill our minds and hearts and enable us with His power, just like He did for those early disciples, He will fill us with His presence and bestow upon us an ability to be smarter than we are.

It’s so counterintuitive, but example after example in Scripture and my own life show this to be true. Do you have examples where you’ve given out of faith and seen God reveal Himself?

You and I need to understand this biblical truth, beloved. If we want to receive from God, He requires us to give. John 6:38.
