Today, August 26, we honor the generations of women whose courage, persistence, and determination helped secure women’s constitutional right to vote. Women’s Equality Day commemorates the certification of the 19th Amendment while reminding us that the pursuit of equality continues.

At YWCA Hanover, we celebrate the women who paved the way and the women who continue to lead, advocate, inspire, and create change in our communities. Together, we can continue building a future where every woman and girl has the opportunity to learn, lead, thrive, and reach her full potential.

🌈 Planting a Rainbow of Learning! 🌈

Our Children’s Learning Academy friends brought the story "Planting a Rainbow" to life through hands-on activities! 📚🌱

After reading the book as part of our curriculum, the children created beautiful rainbow friendship paintings, explored rainbow colors in the sensory table, and practiced color sorting to connect all the learning together. 🎨🌈

And one activity was an extra big hit—weaving colorful pipe cleaners through colander holes! 🧶✨ It was a fun way to build creativity, coordination, and fine motor skills while exploring colors.

We love watching our little learners turn stories into hands-on discoveries! 💜
