News for 2025! We have moved to NC to be closer to family! We are not far from our dear friends at MrMaple.com. Yes, we will continue to graft in small quantities and vend at a few garden sales in the Asheville area. And maybe in Virginia...Will keep you posted!

Richmond Customers: We will miss all of you! But you can be on the lookout for Dogtown Growers at Maymont's Herbs Galore. My nephew, Stephen, and his wife, Cambridge, will be vending their own Japanese Maples and other beautiful plants. Stephen lived and worked at the Acer Acres farm for many years. We are so excited that Stephen is keeping the family tradition going! Please show them some love!

Looks like the weather will cooperate so we will be set up at the Ashland VA Farmers Market this Saturday, 9/28, from 9:00-12:00!

Unfortunately, we won't be vending at the Lewis Ginter plant sale on September 20th and 21st due to a conflict. We hope you'll still attend and show your support for this wonderful garden and other vendors.

Come see us at our last event of the season - Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden's Spring Plantfest! This year the sale is being held in the parking lot adjacent to the visitors center. Beautiful site and many wonderful vendors. 15% of all sales go to support LGBG, a true jewel. Today and tomorrow from 9:00-3:00. Free admission. Don't forget your wagon!

Busy morning for all the fabulous vendors getting ready for the start of the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival! It's an amazing effort by the vendors, volunteers, and town administration to put this all together! Hope you will come find your new favorite Japanese Maple at our booth on King Street!

Good Morning! Due to the gale force winds experienced yesterday, and expected again today, at the River Farm plant sale, we have decided to fold up our tent a day early. We are very sorry to disappoint anyone planning to find us there today.

We are looking forward to the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival next week-end and hope you will look for us there under our big orange tent on King Street!
