This week, Mrs. Miller took 1st & 2nd grade classrooms on a field trip to the Jefferson County Public Library Hanover Branch during her special class time! The library gave each student a goodie bag with a bookmark, coupon for ice cream from Dairy Queen, a toy, and library information.

Thank you Jefferson County Public Library Hanover Branch & Mrs. Miller!

We didn’t get any pictures, but thank you so much to the Southwestern Elementary PTO for providing dinner for the staff during parent-teacher conferences and thank you to Miss Wanda and Cathy Clark (Mrs. Hawkins’ Mom) for cooking the food! It was a treat!

We’d also like to thank all of our parents/guardians who attended conferences! Your partnership is key to helping our students be the best they can be! Thank you for all you do!
