🐯🧡 HAPPY 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL CSPES! 🧡🐯

Our Tigers kicked off the year with an INCREDIBLE pep rally! 🌟 Mr. Terrell Simons and Mr. Steven Pascal brought the energy as our MCs🎤 Thank you for bringing the hype, CSPES Dads! Our PTO kept the energy going, and our students, staff, and families brought the school spirit. 🧡 A special shout-out to our AACPS Guest Visitors, and CLF visitors for helping us celebrate the start of another amazing year!

The halls are ready. The classrooms are ready. Temi is ready. And most importantly, WE are ready for our Tigers!

Today we begin a brand-new chapter together, and I truly believe this is going to be the BEST YEAR EVER! 🌟

Remember, only students in Grades 1–5 begin today. Our PK and Kindergarten Tigers will join us soon!

⚠️ Reminder: Pre-K and Kindergarten do NOT start tomorrow. Their first day will be later according to the staggered-entry schedule.

Get those backpacks ready, lay out those uniforms, and get some rest—we can't wait to see our 1st–5th grade Tigers bright and early tomorrow morning!

We will **NOT be scanning IDs on the day of the pep rally.** If your ID is not already in our system, please stop by CSPES on **August 20th or August 21st** to have it scanned.

**If your ID is not in our system, you will NOT be able to attend the pep rally—even if you have RSVP'd.** Please take care of this ahead of time so you don't miss out!

Reminder: Dress Rehearsal will be August 20th

We will welcome 1st and 2nd graders from 12- 1 pm

3rd, 4th, and 5th graders from 1:30-2:30 pm

Pre-K and Kindergarten will have sneak-a-peek from 3:00-4:00 pm

As a reminder,
CSPES is a uniform school. All uniform tops, jackets, sweaters, and PE gear MUST be purchased from Flynn O Hara (www.flynnohara.com). You can purchase online or in-store. For the upcoming year, students in kindergarten through 5th grade will wear the elementary polos and colors. Bottoms can be purchased from anywhere. Shoes MUST follow the guidelines outlined below. For our complete uniform policy, please visit our website.

Here is a quick rundown of the shoe expectations for this year. Shoes must be predominantly black (at least 90%), and the only accent color permitted is white. No other colors are permitted.
