💳 This year’s Book Fair is **COMPLETELY CASHLESS!**
📱 Students will shop using their Scholastic eWallet
💳 Adults can use credit cards during Family Shopping Days — Thursday evening & Saturday morning.

Our Tigers have been working hard all quarter, and we’re getting ready to celebrate with a GLOW PARTY on 10/30🎉🕺 Students will be able to use their Temi Tickets to purchase Glow Party Accessories🌟
🌟DONATIONS NEEDED!🌟
We are looking for donations of glow sticks, glow necklaces, bracelets, and other fun glow items to help make this celebration AMAZING! 🪩✨

Dear CSPES Families,

We are pleased to announce that the CSPES lottery is now open! Applications will be accepted through November 5th at 12:00 PM.

If you have a new student you would like to attend CSPES for the 27-28 school year, you must apply to be eligible for the lottery. Information about how to apply can be found at https://www.aacps.org/page/charter-contract-schools. Please ensure you are using MyPowerHub to complete your application and NOT Parent Portal.

Please keep the following important details in mind:

1. Lottery Timing: The lottery process is not first-come, first-served. Completing your application on the first day gives your student the exact same chance of acceptance as someone who applies on the last day.

2. Pre-K Students: Students currently attending Pre-K at CSPES do not automatically move into Kindergarten at CSPES. You must submit an application for them to be considered in the lottery.

3. Sibling Preference: Having a student currently enrolled in Pre-K does not trigger sibling preference for other children in your household. Sibling preference is only triggered once your first student enters CSPES in grades K–12.

4. Strict Application Requirement: If you do not complete an application for your child to be entered into the lottery, they cannot attend CSPES next year. There are no exceptions to this rule.

5. Existing Students: Students who are currently enrolled in grades K-12 at CSP schools do NOT need to reapply.

Attached to this email, you will find a document answering our most frequently asked questions regarding the lottery process for existing families.

A little late, but showing love & appreciation for Graciella and Maria is ALWAYS right on time! 🐯🧡🌟Graciella and Maria are truly two of the hardest working women at CSPES! Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it makes such a BIG difference in our school community. Thank you both for everything you do to keep CSPES clean🌟, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff each day. We are so grateful for your dedication, kindness, and all the care you put into our school.

"🌈 The whole school has earned a dress-down day on Friday, October 9! 🎉 We surpassed our $35,000 Fun Run goal, raising over $39,000! Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our students!

These funds help our PTO say YES all year long—to teacher grants and classroom extras, family events and celebrations, and the little extras that make CSPES an even better place to learn, grow, and have fun!

We did it CSPES! 🐯🧡🌈 We officially reached our fundraising goal and raised OVER $35,000 for our school! 🎉 Because of this incredible accomplishment, the entire school has earned a Dress Down Day on Friday, October 9! 👕🎉
A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing CSPES families, students, staff, and community for your generosity, encouragement, and support. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our Fun Run such a huge success!
