Horizon Families ☀️

We still need a few families to volunteer to decorate for Trunk or Treat on Sat. 10/17. If you are able to decorate a car and pass out treats, please see the recent text or Parent Square message from Dr. Schwardt for the link to sign up! 🎃

Hope everyone is having a great first month of school! Come celebrate with us and your families at our first Dine to Donate this Friday 9/18 at Dairy Queen! Nothing better than a sweet treat to say “you’re doing great” and “you got this!” Pop in to the Dairy Queen at 948 W Army Trail in Carol Stream anytime between the hours of 11am and 10pm and mention Horizon Elementary School and the PTO will get a share of your purchases. Hope to see you all there and remember to tag our Horizon PTO in all your great pictures!

Good Morning Everyone! Don’t forget our first PTO meeting of the year is this Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 at Horizon (usually in the teacher’s lounge). You may have to buzz in if the doors are locked. We will be introducing our current members as well as looking forward to meeting new ones and going over our plans for the year ahead. If you cannot make it in person to the meeting a zoom link will be sent out by Dr. Schwardt for you to join us virtually. We look forward to seeing you all Wednesday!
