Congratulations to Maverick Marty, Cooper Roberts, and Coach Tucker Roberts on representing River High School with St. Clairsville American Legion Post 159!
Today they finished the season by bringing home the American Legion State Championship!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Angie VanCamp, our beloved River High School counselor. This loss leaves a hole in our school community that words can hardly capture.

Angie was more than a counselor — she was a loving, thoughtful, and caring person who gave everything she had for her students. Her door was always open, and her ear was always ready to listen, whether you were a student navigating a hard day or a coworker who just needed someone to talk to.

You couldn't stay sad around Angie for long. Her fun-loving spirit had a way of brightening any room and lifting any mood. She had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Our school will be forever changed by her absence, and she will be deeply missed. But her legacy of kindness will live on in every life she touched — and we will carry it forward in her honor.

Please keep Angie's family in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Attention Seniors!
Any senior interested in painting a senior parking spot must submit designs for approval to Mr. Trifonoff by July 27, 2026. Students can begin painting on August 3. Spots will be marked that senior students, who drive to school, can paint.
