Congratulations to all the students and music teachers of the Hannibal Music Academy for two successful Spring recitals! Nate Ard - saxophone, Madison Moore - flute, Matthew Schroeter - saxophone, Noah Krisko - trumpet, Allen Means - trombone, tuba, French horn, & voice.

Congratulations to Bryant & Jenny Merriman for graduating into book 3 of Piano Express piano lessons! The Merrimans and their children have been taking group piano lessons as a family since October. There are 6 levels of books using this interactive software based group piano lessons. After which they will go to private lessons. It has been proven that Piano Express is a faster progression of learning to play the piano with the software “grading” the students. The teacher is supervising up to 6 students for an hour lesson. The software animation holds the attention of the students and they want to keep passing the songs. Students are also taught theory and technique by the teacher during the lesson. We do offer beginner private piano lessons as well. The Merrimans wanted a family activity. Each member progresses at their own pace and still are learning together in the piano lab.

It’s official. The Hannibal Music Academy is hosting The Marion County Fair Talent Show Saturday, August 1st! Entry forms will be available shortly.

Today’s student recital was lovely! All the students performed so well.
