Hannibal Band Day

Saturday, 10/4 Competition Meal Band Boosters provides a meal for our students at each competition. But, we need YOUR help to transport food, set up food at competition, serve food and clean up. The bands will go ahead and march at Porter Stadium, they are starting now. Things were fast and tight decisions between directors. All bands were “given the option” to march, but I am not sure who stayed, or if anyone went ahead and left. The weather sure didn’t cooperate. That 30% chance was a kicker. I think I see 9 bands! Pretty good, considering!

We have a low turnout in the stands right now, but the field shows will continue on schedule! Please come out and support these kids, they worked really hard.

The Parade on Broadway has been cancelled due to lightning. 😭. Watch this page for further details as they become available.

We are in a 30 minute rain delay. I will pass on any further details as I receive them from district staff. Thank you! Hopefully this all clears quickly.

Today is the Day!! The rain shouldn't be a problem per our trusted Meteorologist. Here is a roughly sketched map per a request. It's not pretty but hopeful it is usable!

See you at 3pm for the parade downtown on Broadway, getting a seat anywhere between Holy Family and Main Street would probably be great!

Field shows will start at 5:30p at the High School field.

If you are looking for a way to help the Band with Band Day, we are very much in need of Cans of Soda to stock the Concession Stand. Root Beer, Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Diet Mt Dew, Diet Pepsi and Diet Mt Dew.

We will have a lot if thirsty folks, and so far we have not been able to secure enough soda for the booth. If you are able to donate a pack or two, please send it with a band kid, drop it off at the Band room, or we can try to make other arrangements to get it.
