BFA Class of 2026 completed their last big workshop with us! They participated in Disneys Imagination Campus - Team work the Disney Way. It was a great time and some great memories were made!

Proud moment for our BFA students!

This weekend, BFA members stepped up through FBLA, by competing, building leadership skills, and earning top-ten finishes at the Central Section Leadership Conference.

These experiences help BFA students be involved beyond the classroom and parent support makes it possible. Huge thank you to our two parents who helped with chaperoning and transportation. We couldn’t do this without all of you!

BFA CUSTOM PRINT CO. is holding a POP UP SHOP with BRAND NEW designs for SPHS Spirit Wear, just in time for the holidays.

We will be holding the pop up shop for the entire student body during lunch MONDAY AND TUESDAY of finals week (December 15 & 16). If you are unable to attend, we will accept appointments for after school on Wednesday, just email [email protected].

All items are pre-made and ready to go. If you require a size larger than XL, please email what design you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Today our freshman BFA students participated in the Bite of Reality Challenge sponsored by Valley Strong Credit Union. Each student was given a persona complete with a career, spouse, child, and monthly income — then tasked with budgeting for housing, transportation, food, entertainment, and necessities, all while saving money and paying off debt.

The goal? End the day with money left over (or at least not in the negative!) — and wow, did they learn how quickly real-life decisions add up!

The students had a great time and walked away with a much better understanding of how to manage money and plan for the future. I’m excited to dive deeper into what they learned during class discussions tomorrow!

A special thank-you to Valley Strong Credit Union, the amazing volunteers, and our very own student tellers from the on-campus Valley Strong branch who helped guide students through their decisions — and even tried to upsell them along the way to teach some fun (and very real) life lessons!

One of my favorite activities every year is to show students how every cent of every federal income tax dollar is allocated to each tax category/federal program.
