Happy Feast Day to our patron saint, St. Rose of Lima! 🌹

St. Rose of Lima was born in Lima, Peru, in 1586 and was baptized Isabel, but she became known as Rose because of her beautiful, rose-like appearance. From a young age, Rose had a deep love for Jesus and spent her life praying, helping her family, caring for the poor and sick, and serving others. She joined the Third Order of St. Dominic and became the first person born in the Americas to be canonized a saint. Her feast day is August 23, and she is the patroness of the Americas, Peru, the Philippines, gardeners, and florists.🌹

Celebrate St. Rose of Lima today by creating a rose, planting a flower, or doing a secret act of kindness. 🌹
