The holiday season can be a difficult time due to changes to any of the following:
• Routine
• School programs
• Vacation
• Travel
• Visiting family and friends

2. Bring Your Own Food & Supplies to Gatherings
3. Offer to Buy Gifts
4. Try to Build in as Much Routine as Possible
5. Ask the School or Program for Activities You Can Work on At Home over Breaks

7. Plan Activities Where There is No Expectation that Your Special Needs Loved One Has to Behave

Foggy Days Scheduling Reminder
Foggy day schedules will be announced on local television stations: KSEE (24) and KMPH Fox (26). Check your cable provider for the appropriate channel for your subscription.
Every attempt will be made to have the announcement placed on the above stations by 5:30 a.m.

The announcement will state: “Shelly Baird School”.

All Shelly Baird Classes will start on time, allowing parents to bring their children to school if they prefer and buses will be available to take the children home.
