We are learning about our Community Helpers!

What a wonderful day we had on our walking trip around our community! Our preschoolers had so much fun learning about the amazing people and businesses that help make our community special.

We started our adventure at SFCU, where they read us a story, taught us about saving money, and even treated us to ice cream for snack and gave each child a goodie bag!

We then visited our local barbershop, stopped at NBT Bank where we got to see the vault, and took a tour through the Post Office and the Hancock Herald.

Our adventure continued with a stop at Tops, where we learned more about our local grocery store, and Walgreens, where we got to see the pharmacists at work.

And then came a very special and unexpected surprise! We met a New York State Trooper, who was so kind and took the time to show our preschoolers around his patrol car. The kids got to see the lights and hear the siren, and even learn about some of the equipment inside the car. What an exciting way to end our day!

It was such a fun day filled with learning, exploring, walking, and meeting the wonderful community helpers who take care of our town. We are so thankful to everyone who welcomed us, spent time with us, and made our walking trip so memorable!

Our little learners had a BIG day in our community!

Krispy Kreme orders will be ready for pickup this Friday, October 9th, from 9:30–11:30 AM at the preschool.

What a great day at Lakeland Orchard!
Our preschoolers had an absolute blast exploring, laughing, and making wonderful memories together! We are so grateful to all of our amazing parent chaperones who helped make the trip so much fun and extra special for our little learners.
A very special THANK YOU to the Hancock Community Education Foundation for funding our field trip and giving our preschoolers the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful experience!

It was a day filled with smiles, fun, and memories we’ll cherish!

September was a wonderful month in Preschool!

Our preschoolers have been busy getting to know one another, making new friends, and learning all about our classroom rules, routines, calendar, and so much more!

We were excited to welcome Miss Amy from the Louise Adelia Read Memorial Library, who joined us to read some wonderful books and enjoy a fun craft together.

We also took our first walking trip to the Nature Center, where we enjoyed listening to stories and creating fall crafts with Miss Emily.
It was such a special adventure for our little learners!

It has been so much fun watching our preschoolers grow more comfortable, confident, and excited to learn each day. We can’t wait to see what October brings! 🍂🎃

What a wonderful first week of Preschool!

We’ve been busy getting to know each other, learning about rules and routines, making new friends, and having lots of fun along the way!
We are so proud of our little learners and can’t wait to see all the amazing things this year will bring.
