What a wonderful evening! 💙 Thank you so much to all of our amazing families for coming out to Coastal Academy – Hanahan’s Open House tonight! It was so special getting to meet our new families, see familiar faces, and give everyone a chance to connect with their child’s teachers. 🥰

We are SO excited for the 2026–2027 school year and cannot wait to welcome all of our little learners to their new rooms on August 17th! 🎉📚

A huge thank you to our incredible teachers and staff for all of the time, love, and preparation they have put into getting our school ready. We are truly looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning, growing, friendships, and lots of fun! 💙

Our little explorers had an amazing time on our field trip to the aquarium today! 🐠🦀🌊

From seeing incredible sea creatures up close to getting the chance to touch and interact with some amazing animals, the excitement was contagious! There were so many smiles, curious questions, and unforgettable moments as our kiddos discovered the wonders of marine life.

Hands-on learning is one of the best ways to spark curiosity, and today was full of adventure, exploration, and memories that will last a long time. We had so much fun! 💙🐚✨

🍦 Sweet summer memories at Coastal Academy! 🍦

A big thank you to Vinyl & Vanilla for bringing their ice cream truck to Coastal Academy today! Our kiddos had the best time picking out their favorite treats, cooling off with some delicious ice cream, and sharing lots of smiles with their friends. ☀️🍨

Happy World Ocean Day! 🌊🦦

Today we’re celebrating our oceans, the animals who call them home, and the little learners who will help shape a brighter future.

At our school, we believe kindness extends beyond the classroom — to our friends, families, communities, and the world around us.

Looking for a simple way to celebrate with your child today? Try reading a book about ocean animals, taking a family walk to pick up litter, using a reusable water bottle, or talking about why clean water matters.

Small moments like these help children build curiosity, kindness, and care for the world around them. 💙

It’s Child Safety Week! 🛡️

Safety starts with the small things we practice every day: holding hands in the parking lot, walking feet in the classroom, kind reminders from teachers, and knowing when to ask a trusted adult for help.
