Spanish learning is all around us! 💛1️⃣

This week, we practiced the number one — UNO and the color yellow — AMARILLO, using something very familiar to our little learners as an example: our MIA Van! 🚌

Connecting new Spanish words with things children see in their everyday lives makes learning more natural, meaningful, and fun. ✨

Drawing, creating, and playing give children the freedom to imagine, express themselves, explore new ideas, and build confidence.

At MIA, we believe childhood needs space for creativity, curiosity, and plenty of play. 💛

Because when children create, they’re doing much more than having fun—they’re growing. 🌱

🧲⛸️ What if a magnet could make a skater glide across the ice?

Our little scientists explored the amazing world of magnetism by designing their very own skating rink and discovering how a hidden magnet could make their skater move without touching it.

As they built, tested, and experimented, they developed observation skills, problem-solving, creativity, and scientific thinking—all through hands-on learning.

At MIA, every experiment begins with curiosity and ends with a smile. 💛

Because the best way to learn is by playing, exploring, and discovering together.

ES: 🧲⛸️ ¿Puede un imán hacer que un patinador se deslice sobre el hielo?

Nuestros pequeños científicos exploraron el fascinante mundo del magnetismo diseñando su propia pista de patinaje y descubriendo cómo un imán escondido debajo podía mover al patinador sin tocarlo.

Mientras construían, probaban y experimentaban, fortalecieron la observación, la resolución de problemas, la creatividad y el pensamiento científico a través del aprendizaje práctico.

En MIA, cada experimento comienza con una pregunta y termina con un gran descubrimiento. 💛

🧲 The Magnet Challenge is on!

This week, our little scientists teamed up to explore the fascinating world of magnetism.

Their mission? Search for objects made of metal and discover which ones were attracted by a magnet. Along the way, they practiced observation, teamwork, prediction, and critical thinking—all while having fun!

Every discovery starts with curiosity. 💛

✨ Tomorrow we’ll share the exciting results of our Magnetism Week!

Esta semana, nuestros pequeños científicos trabajaron en equipo para explorar el fascinante mundo del magnetismo.

¿Su misión? Encontrar la mayor cantidad de objetos metálicos y descubrir cuáles eran atraídos por un imán. Mientras jugaban, desarrollaron la observación, el trabajo en equipo, la capacidad de hacer predicciones y el pensamiento científico.

We made arepas! 🫓👩‍🍳

During our Kitchen Science Week, our little chefs measured, mixed, kneaded, and shaped their own arepas while exploring textures and learning how ingredients transform.

Who knew science could taste this good? 🧪💛

Durante nuestra Kitchen Science Week, nuestros pequeños chefs midieron, mezclaron, amasaron y dieron forma a sus propias arepas, mientras exploraban texturas y descubrían cómo se transforman los ingredientes.

Our little scientists proudly presented their volcano experiments during our Science Fair, sharing their curiosity, creativity, and excitement with their families.
