From Hibernation to Feeding Time! 🐻✨
After learning all about hibernation, we moved on to discover what bears eat! Our little explorers created a beautiful project—a cozy bear cave under the stars, bringing the night and darkness to life. 🌙🏕️
We also practiced being silent, just like hibernating bears, and talked about the importance of quiet moments. Learning to appreciate silence is just as important as play!
Every week, we dive deeper into nature’s wonders through creativity and hands-on learning. Stay tuned for more adventures!

🍂 November at MIA: A Season of Gratitude and Growth 🌱🎃
As we celebrate Thanksgiving and the harvest season, we reflect on the incredible journey of growth—just like the pumpkins our kids planted this summer! 🌟 Over the past few months, we’ve nurtured our seeds with care, patience, and teamwork, and now we’re harvesting the fruits of our labor.
This week, we explored pumpkins in a fun and educational activity. From feeling their bumpy textures to discussing their role in Thanksgiving traditions, our little ones discovered how these vibrant fruits remind us of nature’s generosity and the importance of nurturing what we sow.
🌿 Tips for Caring for Your Outdoor Plants (and Relating It to Kids!):
1️⃣ Prepare the soil: Just like children need a loving environment to thrive, plants need rich, healthy soil to grow strong.
2️⃣ Water regularly: Plants, like kids, need consistent care and attention to flourish. Balance is key—too much water or too little can affect growth.
3️⃣ Patience and observation: Teach kids to enjoy the process. Watch as plants grow little by little, celebrating each stage.
4️⃣ Protect your harvest: Safeguard your crops (and little ones) from harsh conditions—whether it’s extreme weather or life’s challenges.
November reminds us of the value of gratitude, growth, and giving back. Let’s continue to nurture not only our gardens but also the seeds of kindness and curiosity in our children. 🌟

🎃 Halloween Celebration at MIA! 🎃
At MIA, we celebrate Halloween with a Latin twist! In Venezuelan culture, it's actually during Carnival that we dress up, exchange candy, and celebrate together. Since Carnival isn’t celebrated here in the U.S., Halloween has become a perfect day for our MIA community to come together in fun costumes and enjoy sweet treats.
This year, we added a special touch with a Wheel Day! The kids not only wore their favorite costumes, but they also decorated their bikes and scooters, bringing extra creativity and fun to the day. Parents and grandparents joined us, adding to the joy of the day with play and laughter.
We had such a wonderful time creating memories, learning, and sharing a bit of our culture with the entire MIA family. Thank you all for making it special!
There are a few spots left!
