Congratulations to our band director, Mr. Andre North, for being selected to be a featured speaker at the 2027 SCMEA Conference. Mr. North has lead the 230 member Hanahan Middle School band to receive multiple state awards including , 1st place Division wins, Grand Champion awards, and many Superior Ratings. Through his conference presentation, he will share his success in how band programs can retain their students. Congratulations, Mr. North. We can't wait to hear the 26-27 concert bands in action!

Come out to Hanahan Middle for a "Conversations and Cool Treats" event to meet the new principal, Dr. Leslie Howder, on Thursday, August 6, 2026. This is a drop-in event located in the entrance to the school from 4 - 5:30 pm. The Tikiz truck will be onsite for families to purchase some sweet treats. Hanahan Middle Meet the Teacher Night at our new campus!
August 10th 5-6:30 pm drop-in
Complete registration by August 5th to guarantee a bus assignment. Students living within 1.5 miles from the new campus location at 5815 Murray Drive will be considered car riders or walkers.
A new bike rack is also available on campus for student use. See you on the 10th!
