Etowah High School's engine-build team, coached by Marc Giuliano, qualified for the Nationals at the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on April 28th. They successfully disassembled and reassembled a Chevrolet small block 350 engine in 32 minutes and 26 seconds including penalties. The team is headed to the national championships at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas or Performance Racing Industry (PRI) in Indianapolis sometime this year.
