Boss Guitar Building School Boss Guitar Building School small home business that teaches student how to build acoustic guitars Boss Guitars is all about doing things the old fashion way.

I build guitars by hand, teach students to build steel string and classical acoustic guitars either by using a kit or completely from scratch. I have been teaching guitar building for 18 years. All my classes are one-on-one. I teach one student at a time, (I do make exceptions for family groups and friends who wish to take reclassified together)

Day 15 of the guitar building class. The neck is completely roughed out. The headstock is done. Erik has to make all the final adjustments . Everything he needs to do the job is laid out on the workbench. After he completes the neck, it’s time to attach it to the top.

Day 12. Erik has finished carving the back of the head stock. He glued multiple layers underneath the headstock plate, which will look great once the tuning gear slots are ramped out. He started shaping the very top of the headstock using files, chisels, and carving knives .
