A highlight of my semester from one of my students: "I have always been intimidated by financial documents and economic language however, this class helped me learn key factors that are important to know how to analyze when looking to invest or work for a company. I am now able to look at a balance sheet and identify the assets and liabilities a company has. I can look at the income statement and see the revenue and expenses for a company. I analyzed cash flow and looked at what my company is investing in. These skills are incredibly important for me to have as I enter the job market. I can now make a more informed decision for where to work and where I invest money. I also realized that financial data is not as daunting as it once seemed and it is important for me to take the time to look at it!"

Madam C.J. Walker’s great-great granddaughter, Ms. A'Lelia Bundles, was LIVE in Dean Julia Wilson's International Journalism and Communications class today. Students were intrigued at the opportunity to meet such a successful journalist, book author and TV news producer. The Netflix movie series, “Self Made,” was based on her book. Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications thanks you for sharing your family history and some of the challenges in the media industry with our students.

Examples from TMW... we taught a specialized training for a colleague's membership group yesterday and came in to emails asking for the recording and noting "you crushed it" (YAY!). Next up: Make it a workshop for others.
We recently wrapped up a membership program audit for a colleague and are super excited about the potential of their program and about doing these audits for others. (One tweak will add $49K for them!)
We just welcomed two new 5-figure contract clients, each who has been watching us be helpful (without expectation!) for months. Be generous with your knowledge -- help others!
Our Get It Done Right program training this month covered creating a CEO Scorecard complete w/ Google sheet plug-and-play template. Next month is all about Defining & Retaining Your Best Clients.
And we're getting ready to head into a 3-hour intensive this evening as part of our own continuous learning.
