🌟 Student Spotlight 🌟

Chase is a 5th grader at North Topsail Elementary, recognized for his academic success, leadership, and kindness toward others.

Chase works hard in the classroom and takes pride in his learning. He participates in discussions, shares his ideas, and is quick to help classmates who may be struggling. Rather than simply giving someone an answer, he helps them understand directions or think through their work. 📚

That same approach carries over outside of academics. Chase includes others, encourages his classmates, and treats people with kindness and respect. He follows school expectations and leads by example, showing that leadership doesn’t always mean being the loudest person in the room.

Outside of school, Chase enjoys playing hockey 🏒. His favorite food is pizza 🍕, and his favorite color is blue 💙. He also has a Husky/German Shepherd named Darla 🐶.

One fun fact—Chase was born in New Jersey.

Our 4th grade Book Buddies stepped up to help their 1st grade buddies edit their Module 1 Wit & Wisdom final project stories!

Our first graders wrote about how children around the world get books, and together, our Dolphins celebrated the amazing ways books can make a difference and change lives all around the world.

After all their hard work, students proudly shared their stories with their friends and families! We love seeing our Book Buddies learn from one another, grow as writers, and discover the power of reading!

Our students have been working hard to prepare for their Eureka Math Module 1 Unit Assessment! They completed a study guide to review multiplying and dividing whole numbers and decimals, along with working with powers of 10.

They put their math skills to work, reviewed strategies, and got ready to show what they know! 🧠⭐
