📖2nd grade students celebrated their learning today with Tall Tale/Fairy Tale Day! Students have been learning about different stories through reading, writing, and word building activities and today they showed teamwork and communication skills while working together! It was a great day of learning! 👏🏼Thank you to the many parent volunteers that came to support our students today. And a big thanks to Mrs. Bannerman, Mrs. Daudelin, and Mrs. Roberson for all of their hard work to set up this amazing activity! 🪓🎯👩🏼‍🌾

⭐️Today, 4th graders continue to do team building and learn about one another during a tower commonality game! Students received an index card for anything their group had in common and the goal was to work together to build the tallest tower. This activity required students to practice conversation skills and learn new things about each other that they may not have known they had in common! 🙌🏽

🎲Mrs. Daudelin’s 2nd grade class worked on communication and teamwork today when they played partner games during math. Students rolled a die and then had to figure out the other addend that would make a 10. Student discourse while working to solve math problems is critical to our learning! ➕🟰

💪🏽Kindergarten students learned all about perseverance today. They worked in partners to build “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” trees by balancing sticks and letters on cups and figuring out how to toss a piece of paper into a bucket! When the “I can’t monster” told students it was too hard, they scared it away by saying “Yes we can!”👏🏼
