We have some openings for our Tactical Emergency Casuality Care (TECC) class being held in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Class is scheduled for next Wednesday (11/8) and Thursday (11/9). The price for the class is $250 per student, which includes all demonstrations, 16 hours of continuing education credit, and a four year membership to the NAEMT. Request for Assistance!
Ridgeline Emergency Education Solutions, in cooperation with the Wilbraham Fire Department, is in need of persons to act as victims, patients, bystanders, and other roles for several larger-scale scenarios as part of a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course. Looking for anyone at least 15 years old or older, to
assist with making these scenarios as realistic as possible for the Fire/EMS/Police personnel registered for the course.

Where: The old Memorial School, 310 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095
When: Wednesday, February 23rd
, from approx. 1030Hrs-1400Hrs
What: You would be serving as either bystanders, patients/victims, or in other roles, so bring some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Roles/instructions would be assigned that day. Staff will be on site to provide moulage/”injuries.”

Today we pause and reflect upon the men and women of our armed forces who have paid the hefty price of freedom with their blood. Though today is important, live everyday like it is Memorial Day and like Independence Day for that matter, cherishing the liberties and privileges that their sacrifices have secured for us to enjoy. Keep their spirits alive and their families in your prayers as you go about your day today.

New requirements for recertification credits for Emergeny Medical Services providers.

OEMS and NREMT have updated the requirements for 2021 Recertification. For 2021 Recerts, all education may be distributive (either remote real-time or asynchronous). In-person education is of course still accepted. Classes must have either an OEMS or a CAPCE approval number. Please note that as of now there has been NO EXTENSION of the recert period. Education must be completed by 3/31/21.
