Just because you know what it feels like to be let down, disappointed, or have nobody to depend on doesn’t mean you have to constantly put yourself last so nobody else has to feel that way.

You can care about people without always being available.
You can love people and still say no.
You can understand why someone is hurt without taking responsibility for fixing it. 💜
