This is the unplanned garden. The chickens ate tomatoes and pooped out the seeds. When we rearranged the hen pen the seeds were able to grow because the chickens weren’t there to eat the plants down. Nature is awesome! 🍅🌱🐔

🎉 That’s a wrap! 🎉

We had another great summer visiting the AWA camp! This year campers and counselors learned all about thermoregulation and the many different ways animals stay warm or cool. Everyone enjoyed the hands on learning. Pumbaa was a total rock star! Animal Welfare Association

We had an amazing visit at Cooper River Park with the Commission for the Blind. Families enjoyed the animals at the meet up along with our sensory table including real antlers/horns, sheep wool, feathers and realistic eggs. Participants got to feel the soft rabbit fur and smooth chicken feathers. We didn’t snap many pictures because we were having too much fun. ❤️🐐🐰🐔 NJ Department of Human Services Farm Friends LLC

We visited a day care camp for their farm week in Erial, NJ and a bigger kid ESY in Waterford, NJ. Students enjoyed learning fun facts then meeting and petting the animals. It’s always fun seeing repeat friends that are excited to visit with the animals! Little Lights Daycare2030

Summer is winding down and we can’t say a big enough thank you to everyone that had us join their summer camps or events! We had our 4th and final visit to the Sports XL Sofive camp and our 9th and final visit to the AWA camp for the summer!
