Join PNW Study Away, with featured guests from the PNW Career Center, for a global lunch and learn focused on how study away experiences translate into real-world, career-ready skills.

This event will celebrate recent study away participants while creating space for connection, reflection, and inspiration. Share highlights from your experiences and the skills you have gained along the way.

Whether you’ve already studied away or are just starting to explore the idea, this event offers a fun, welcoming opportunity to connect and explore.

As spring break comes to a close here at PNW, please join us in celebrating the College of Nursing spring break study away program that traveled to Puerto Rico this week:

From the Purdue Northwest classroom all the way to San Juan, Puerto Rico - This week, our Purdue University Northwest-College of Nursing students immersed themselves in a powerful Study Away experience in San Juan, exploring healthcare through a global lens.

Through hands-on site visits, discussions on maternal-child health, and cultural experiences, students examined how culture, environment, and access shape healthcare systems and patient outcomes.

They didn’t just learn about healthcare—they experienced it.
They didn’t just observe culture—they engaged with it.

From building intercultural communication skills to reflecting on health equity and leadership, this week was filled with growth, connection, and unforgettable moments.

We’re so proud of these future healthcare leaders for stepping outside their comfort zones and into the world 🌎

This spring we are creating something new – and you’re invited to be part of it!

The Global Ambassador community is launching a Global Lounge Takeover in CLO 151 on the dates and times listed below – a relaxed, welcoming space for globally minded students to connect, share stories, and celebrate cultural exchange.
