Dear Gamma Mu,
“As I get ready to graduate, I’ve been reflecting on everything this chapter has meant to me, and it’s honestly hard to put into words. Gamma Mu has been such a huge part of my college experience and has shaped me into the person I am today. The friendships, the memories, and the lessons I’ve gained here are something I will carry with me long after I leave. Being able to serve as Director of Panhellenic Relations in 2024 and then Chapter President in 2025 meant so much to me. Those roles pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. I learned how to lead, how to communicate with others, and how to be someone people could rely on. More than anything, I learned how special this chapter really is and how strong we are when we support each other. Gamma Mu has given me a place where I felt supported, challenged, and truly at home. I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together, and I know this chapter will continue to grow and succeed. I hope each of you takes advantage of every moment here, because it really does go by fast. Thank you for everything! For the memories, the leadership opportunities, and the lifelong friendships. “Tri Sigma was something I didn’t even know I needed. I never saw myself as a sorority girl, and no one in my family had ever been in one. This chapter shaped me into someone I never could have dreamed of becoming, while also giving me a true sense of community. For once in my life, I felt like people chose me for who I was and that was something I really dreamed of because I never had woman friendships like that. It pushed me out of my comfort zone—not just within the chapter, but at school and in the professional world. I met my future bridesmaids here and made memories I will cherish forever. I truly cannot imagine my college experience without Sigma. I will always be grateful for my time in this chapter and for the best sisters anyone could ever ask for.
