Good afternoon Panthers,
I hope that you are all doing well and enjoying your day. We cannot wait to see you on Tuesday, August 25th from 4-6p.m. for our Open House. Please bring your summer work packets and summer reading logs from the Hammond Library and turn them into me. You will be given a prize for completing these 😍
That evening we will go over important information so you are ready for our first day of school on Wednesday, August 26th from 9-1:45p.m. All students will enter through Door A and proceed to their classrooms.

Kindergarten parents and students will enter Door A and meet in the cafeteria for your teachers at 10:00a.m. You will have an opportunity to take the first day of school picture and wish your child a great first day of school as they walk to their classrooms.

By now all students who completed the registration process should see a homeroom teacher, if you do not, please call our office. Parents- if you have not registered please do so immediately.

It has been a hectic couple of days recovering from the storm, but we are ready to begin our school year with you - See you next week!

Back to School Night/Open House will take place from 4:00-6:00 on Tuesday 8/25

School resumes on Wednesday, 8/26 with the early dismissal schedule starting school at 9:15 and dismissing at 1:45.

***Saturday Update 8/15***

Dear School City of Hammond Staff, Families, and Students:

We are providing an update following the severe weather that impacted our community.

Several School City of Hammond buildings remain without power. We are hopeful that service will be restored soon so we can safely return students and staff to our schools.

Our team will continue to monitor power restoration throughout the weekend and will share any updates or changes to the planned return dates for staff and students as soon as information becomes available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this disruption. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and all decisions will be based on building readiness and safety.
