We are excited that we are going to be providing an amazing STEM education to ALL students at Irving Elementary starting in the 26/27 school year.

School may be out, but great meals are still in. 🥪 😎 The 2026 Summer Meal Program is here to keep children fueled, active, and ready for summer fun. 🌞 🏖️ 💪

FREE breakfast and lunch are available for all children 18 and under at participating School City of Hammond locations. 🥛 🍉 📚 No paperwork is necessary.

• Car Riders – 2:00 p.m.

Middle School
• Walkers – 2:30 p.m.
• Car Riders – 2:45 p.m.
• Bus Riders – 3:00 p.m.

Elementary School
• Walkers – 3:15 p.m.
• Car Riders – 3:30 p.m.
• Bus Riders – 3:45 p.m.

Just a friendly reminder that we are having our third grade parent meeting for any child that has not passed I-Read 3 tomorrow morning at 9:30 

Can you believe that we are in our last week of school?!?!

Students in grades K-5 will be bringing home a summer work packet to keep their skills sharp over the summer... please encourage your child to work on it and complete it over the summer.
We will have a mid summer check in on Tuesday July July 7 from 10-12 at Irving Park! If students bring their packet and show Mrs. Ruiz that they have been working on it, she will give them a treat.

Students can return them completed the first week of school and get another treat then!

So look for the packet to be coming home tomorrow.

We will have a 3rd grade Parent Meeting for any parents of students that did not pass I-Read 3.

Congrats to all the Girls on the Run girls who completed their 5k today at Highland High School.

Shout out to the whole cast, crew and production of The Wizard of Oz. The play was amazing! Thanks to all of you who came out to see it!
