We had an amazing time at our ACM Crawfish Boil! From good food to even better company, it was the perfect way to unwind and connect outside the classroom.

We had a fantastic time hosting our latest Distinguished Lecturer Series featuring Dr. Aisha Ali-Gombe!

Dr. Ali-Gombe shared valuable insights on โ€œFrom Assembly to Intelligence: The Evolution of Malware Analysis,โ€ giving students a deeper look into how cybersecurity continues to evolve in todayโ€™s world.

This past Friday, our Department of Computer Science hosted its Industry Advisory Board meeting, and it was such a valuable experience. We shared updates on the department and curriculum, engaged in open discussions with industry partners, and heard their perspectives on the skills and trends shaping the field.

The day also featured a student panel and several student project presentationsโ€”an inspiring reminder of the innovation and talent in our program. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and continue strengthening the bridge between academia and industry.

Final Presentations Recap!!

Our CMPS 2850 (Software Engineering) and CMPS 4110 (Capstone) classes presented their final projects this past Thursday!

These students worked very hard this past semester, and should be proud of what they've accomplished!
