Bishop Noll Institute Girls Basketball

Congratulations to Brenda Pennington, BNI ‘16, on being inducted into the Hammond Sports Hall of Fame! Brenda led Noll to three sectional and three conference titles and is currently the third leading scorer in BNI girls basketball. She was recognized as a Top 60 Senior by Hoosier Basketball Magazine as was named MVP of the 2016 All-Star classic.

Brenda continued her standout career at Owens Community College in Ohio and William Penn University in Iowa, receiving multiple All-American honors and was named Female Athlete of the Year.
Brenda’s career has been defined by leadership, dedication and a winning mindset.

A big congratulations to BNI head coach Vanita (Gary) Golston ‘04, who recorded her 200th coaching victory Friday night with a 64-28 win at Lake Station. In her 15th season as Lady Warriors head coach, her teams have posted a collective 200-148 record.
