Hey Columbians! Last Tuesday, our Superintendent and the SCH Board of School Trustees made a decision to put the safety of the members of our School Community first and foremost by presenting instruction in an elearning format for the first semester.
In June, Governor Holcomb promised that districts choosing this option would not lose funding. Now certain politicians are threatening to break that promise and cut our funding. Such an act would result in $7 million dollars in cuts to SCH for the first semester alone!
Please speak up on our behalf! Please read Superintendent Miller's letter, and help us get the word to Indianapolis that our students and staff depend on full funding, and we as citizens of Indiana, depend on our Governor keeping his word.
SCH Community, we need your help! Politicians from Indianapolis are going back on their word & trying to fund eLearning at only 85%! Please see Supt. Miller's letter to Gov. Holcomb & consider advocating for this to change! Students & staff depend on it!
