Our primary goal, through leadership, is to allow FCS to become recognized to potential and current students at SELU.
We encourage all of our majors to be involved in the Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. SAFCS is the student led affiliate of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (www.aafcs.org). Incoming and existing FCS MAJORS AND MINORS are invited to join! PLEASE NOTE: OFFICERS MUST HAVE A CUM GPA OF 2.5 AS WELL AS A SEMESTER GPA OF 2.5 FROM THE PREVIOUS SEMESTER!!

Join SAFCS in their Pajama Drive! Donate a pair of pajamas from now until Dec 8th! ALL pajamas will be wrapped and dropped off at local churches! ❤️💚

With this money S.A.F.C.S. wants to find an organization we can donate to or some way to help out in our community. Please let us know if you know of a place in need!
Most importantly, S.A.F.C.S. wants to thank everyone who bought brittle from us and was a part of our fundraiser! Thank yall so much! Without yall we would have never been able to do it! :)

S.A.F.C.S. will be having their next meeting this Wednesday, February 24th at 6:00 pm in White Hall Room 113. If you have not yet paid your dues for this semester, please make sure to do so at the meeting! Let me remind you, we have a full semester planned with lots of exciting events! Hope y'all are ready to have some fun at our meeting Wednesday night as we will be announcing how much we made on the Mardi Gras Crumble fundraiser and touch base on some future events planned for this semester! SAFCS is putting on their third Almond Brittle fundraiser this week! Please comment below if you are interested in buying! Its a great snack to snack on during parades, but don't wait to order because order forms are due this Thursday, JANUARY 28th!

S.A.F.C.S. had a great time supporting one of our own members after the meeting lastnight! Hopefully, we can make this a monthly event! Love hearing you sing and supporting one of our very own! Hope to see everyone there next Wednesday night supporting Miss Julia Smith from 6-9! ☺️
