This program exists to encourage and prepare first-generation with financial need, and underrepresented students in obtaining doctoral degrees.

Our 1st McNair Scholar Highlight:
Michaela Werner co-authored and presented a research project entitled "Achieving Greater Uniformity in Threshold Determinations: Recommendations for Statistical Considerations and Validation Design" at the 28th Congress of the International Society for Forensic Genetics held in Prague, Czech Republic. Congratulations to Michaela and the other authors on this amazing achievement! 🎉👏🏼
