Century-old pine trees tower over acres of lush landscaping at the Hammond Research Station. Nestled in the woods six miles from the city of Hammond, the station covers about 150 acres. PLANT SALE PREVIEW: The Red Texas Star hibiscus is a root-hardy hibiscus producing brilliant red flowers and thrives in both wet and dry conditions. We will have both the white and plenty of red varieties at our sale, April 18th!
