I loved the details on this one. ❤️
Different textures, piping, flowers, smooth tiers all those little things coming together to make one wedding cake.
Looking through these old pictures has really reminded me how much I loved sitting down and just decorating. I was very blessed to have a God-given talent that let me be part of so many special days.

It really bugs me that I don’t make cakes anymore. 😂
This was one of my most unusual groom’s cakes over the years, and it was definitely memorable.
I loved it when my customer brought me an idea that meant something to them and trusted me to figure out how to turn it into cake. 🪲

Going through old Sweet Ideas photos has reminded me just how BIG some of these wedding cakes were. ❤️
This was one of the tallest I ever made, and definitely one of those cakes that took over the room in the best way.
I was very blessed to have so many couples trust me with such an important part of their wedding day.

💖 I forgot how much I loved this part. ❤️
Getting to the venue before everyone else, setting up the cake while the band warmed up, and watching the whole room start coming together.
I made so many wedding cakes over the years, but this feeling never really got old.
