Celebrate National Library week by support Hammond Public Library this week!

Millions of people visit their libraries every week. What’s the draw? Everything.
It’s the first day of —a time to celebrate the places that welcome everyone, spark curiosity, and strengthen our communities.

From books and storytimes to job help, makerspaces, and quiet corners to dream big, libraries offer something for everyone. During National Library Week, April 6–12, take a moment to discover—or rediscover—what makes your library special.

But this year, celebration alone isn’t enough. With censorship attempts still on the rise and federal library funding at risk, what’s at stake is access and opportunity for all. So this National Library Week, we’re inviting you to show up at your library—and show up for our libraries.
