Today is the start of Southeastern Louisiana University's annual Giving Day. Our counseling graduate students want to help their communities by improving mental health for individuals, students, families, and couples. They build that knowledge not only in the classroom, but also by attending conferences outside of assigned class time. This year, 7 of our students will attend the Louisiana Counseling Association Conference in October. Their conference fees will be paid through your generous donations to the Dr. Robert D. Butler Scholarship Fund. Every dollar helps our students build their mental health toolkit to help others.

The Counseling Graduate Program plays a critical role in training future counselors who provide essential mental health support and guidance to individuals and communities. By donating to the Dr. Robert D. Butler Scholarship Fund, you can help expand resources for students, who in turn can make a significant impact in settings such as schools and communities. Southeastern's Giving Day is less than 6 days away! Every dollar that we raise goes directly back to our counseling students so they can further assist with the mental health needs of our communities. This year, we have several students who applied for the Robert D. Butler Scholarship to assist with the LCA Conference fees so that they can further their counseling knowledge as they work with children, individuals, couples, families, and students.

Your donation gives back beyond the students and directly impacts others.
