💜 Eastside Strong. Learning All Summer Long!

As part of our IB learning, students will be exploring how communities work together to care for shared spaces and the environment. Hey everyone! We’ll be working in our gardens starting Monday. If you’d like to lend a hand in any way—whether it’s weeding, helping load dirt, or bringing supplies like a hoe, garden rake, or shovel—we’d really appreciate it. We’ll be planting vegetables and flowers and would love the extra help!

Our chicks finally made it to their coop, and we are so excited!!! 🐥🏡 Watching them grow has been such a meaningful learning experience connected to our IB journey through inquiry, responsibility, and caring for living things. We can’t wait for our students to return and see them all grown up! 💛

🏫 Serves students attending: O.W. Dillon, Kentwood High (7-8), Chesbrough, Spring Creek, Sumner Middle, Roseland Montessori, Amite Elementary/Westside, Independence Leadership/High (7-8), Loranger Elementary/Middle, and Lucille Nesom.

📝 WHAT TO BRING (Required!)
To receive uniforms, a parent or guardian must bring:
1️⃣ Valid Photo ID for the parent/guardian 🪪
2️⃣ Medicaid Card for each child OR a Food Stamp Letter that lists all children's names 📄
